Kinderfarms, the maker of oral electrolyte solution (OES) Kinderlyte, recently debuted Kinderlyte Advanced, a new formula which contains a greater amount of electrolyte concentration, in addition to Premax, a proprietary probiotic blend.
 
The product, which is designed for all ages, is available in both liquid and powder forms, both online and at retailers.
 
“Kinderlyte’s direct rehydration to the bloodstream works fast to address all possible sources of dehydration,” Kinderfarms advisor Carey Chronis, MD said. “Its instant absorption technology provides quick results, while using better-for-you ingredients.”
 
Kinderlyte Advanced Electrolyte Powder achieves World Health Organization (WHO) standards for hydration and provides four-to-five times more electrolytes, and 80% less sugar, than sports drinks, Kinderfarms reports.
 
It is sold in half-ounce sticks, which come in Wild Berry and Lemon Lime flavors.  
 
“This is the only natural electrolyte powder I’ve found to meet the World Health Organization’s published standard for rapid rehydration,” Chronis said. “Make sure to read your ingredients labels. Many products that reference this standard actually use ingredients such as cane sugar or juice that don’t deliver the rapid rehydration benefits of the WHO formula.
 
The Kinderlyte Advanced liquid formulation is made with the same electrolyte absorption formula as its powder counterpart, and is sold in a resealable, BPA-free bottle. It comes in Wild Berry, Raspberry Lemonade, and Coconut Lime flavors.
 
Kinderfarms uses non-GMO, plant-based ingredients, and its products do not contain artificial ingredients such as sucralose, acesulfame potassium, Yellow #6, Blue #1 or Red #40.
